Develop and Validate Control Algorithms for Traction MotorsUnderstanding of principles of working of traction motors – BLDC, PMSM, Induction Motor, SRM etcDesign and Development of control algorithms like Field Oriented Control (FOC) etcValidate control algorithms in simulation, HIL, dyno & vehicle levelUnderstanding & Operation of eddy current and regeneration dyno setupsShall have experience in working at 48V, 72V, 96V & 330 V systemsShall have experience in debugging Hardware to identify root cause of failureShall have experience in code generation and deploying on microcontrollersModelling and Simulation for EVs, Power Electronics and Thermal EffectsModelling of EV components and sizing of motor, battery, and chargerModelling of inverter, battery charger and power electronic components and estimate lossesDesign and suggest component specifications and topologies to reduce lossesDevelop control algorithms and demonstrate loss reductionSimulate thermal losses in semiconductors and assist in mechanical packagingShall have experience in motor drives, power electronics and control systemsShall have experience in using relevant MATLAB and 3D tools for simulationsShall have experience in code generation and deploying on microcontrollersEmbedded SW Architecture Design and ImplementationDesign and develop software for embedded devices as per system requirements Review code, test and debug softwareIntegrate and validate new product designsInterface with hardware design and developmentEvaluate third party and open source softwareAdvanced engineering – Project PlanningClarifying and defining the requirements within the context of new electrical engineering and electromechanical functional systems and devices.Agreement of targets in terms of quality, costs, and timing with the project sponsor, using existing processes and methods in agreement with those responsible or superiorsDefining, planning, coordinating and monitoring development tasks within a project team; involvement of internal and external service providers if necessary, taking economic, qualitative and scheduling points of view into accountMapping project status taking continual processing and interpretation of internal and external information into account; monitoring of the project progress and making decisions about appropriate measures, with the superior if necessary, if there are any deviations from or changes to the targets setCarrying out project controlling in the form of reviews (concluding and interim reports) with project sponsors based on agreed quality, cost, and timing targetsInvolvement in and/or implementation of defined escalation scenarios whenever deviations from targets occur; showing existing alternative solutionsAdvanced engineering – Idea to PrototypePlanning, carrying out and analyzing specific market observations to identify and evaluate new technologiesPreparing, evaluating, and agreeing technological solution alternatives; checking technical commercial feasibilityCarrying out or arranging the development of the necessary hardware and software

YOUR QUALIFICATIONSExpert in control systems, power electronics or drives and machines preferred.MTech. in Power electronics, control systems, drives and machinesExperience: 2 to 4 years in modeling, simulation, embedded software development in automotive industryTool hands-on : MATLAB Simulink, Embedded Coder, C-compilers, MathcadSimulation tools: Thermal and Power electronics simulation tool hands-on preferredContact -
