Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Research Analyst at the Center for Creative Leadership with expertise in R programming, Qualtrics, and data visualization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, helping our organization make informed decisions and optimize data-related processes. We believe in keeping data at the center of all our decisions, leveraging data for key business decisions and driving continuous improvement. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Research Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Retrieve, clean, and preprocess data (qualitative and quantitative) from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Develop visually appealing dashboards and reports using tools like R and Power BI to present complex data in an understandable format.
Utilize R programming skills to perform statistical analysis and create predictive models.
Work with Qualtrics survey data, extracting meaningful insights to enhance decision-making processes.
Work with researchers, evaluators, and data scientists to align data collected (items, format, etc.) with key research questions and objectives.
Collaborate with teams to design and implement surveys, ensuring data quality and relevance.
Create compelling data narratives that effectively communicate key findings to stakeholders.
Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely (in both verbal and written formats).
Academics & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer applications, data science, or a related field + 3-5 years of data-related work experience.
Have experience processing qualitative and quantitative data (experience with both preferred).
Have experience producing visually appealing reports and dashboards using survey data, using tools & platforms like PowerBI, Qualtrics, and others.
Have expertise in R (conducting data analyses, troubleshooting, fixing code issues, and creating data visualizations).
Have experience communicating data insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
Have excellent responsiveness and customer service skills.
Expertise in data security principles including: knowledge of best practices for protecting sensitive data, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, keeping confidential information safe and secure, and mitigating cybersecurity risks in data analysis projects.
Familiarity with R packages caret, random forest, xgboost is a plus.
Knowledge of Python, API integration, and docker containerization is a plus.
