```html About the Company Must have Strong installation and database administration experience on DB2 11.x and 10.x version. About the Role Database upgrade to DB2 11.x and migration experience using DB2 tools for performance. Responsibilities Installation and administration of DB2 11.x, 10.x on Linux, UNIX and Windows servers. Creation and maintenance of UDB DB2 instances, databases, schema and objects. Creation and execution of backup and recovery strategies and procedure implementation. Setup and execution of standard database utilities. Experienced in handling UDB DB2 security and logging. Events, database performance and availability monitoring. SQL, database and application performance monitoring and tuning. Evaluation and testing new versions of UDB DB2. Analyzes the issue to determine the root cause and develop solution or escalate to next level. Database growth trend analysis and capacity recommendation. Database reorganization planning. Design and extract the script from physical Data modeling. Coordinate with database vendors for resolution. Install Client software and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Create and troubleshoot DB2 and shell scripts. Primarily role is supporting the production and non-prod database environments. Provide 24x7 and on call support for critical application databases. Qualifications B.E. / B.Sc. - Maths to be one of the subjects. Required Skills Primary Skill: UDB DB2 DBA. Any of Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL / Sybase – L1 level. OS - Solaris/Linux/AIX/HP UNIX & Windows. Cloud – DaaS / IaaS. Tools – Monitoring / Ticketing / Backup. Preferred Skills Unix/Windows commands, user, groups, File Permission, resource monitoring, Kernel parameters, Packages, Disk info, Network interface and other configuration required for Database setup and maintenance. Scripting knowledge – PowerShell, T-SQL. Basic level experience/setup of Network / Compute / Storage on Cloud. Secondary database Installation, administration, backup, restore, Patching, Upgrade, migration, cluster, automation, standby, DB refresh, replication, DB Audit and Troubleshooting. Knowledge and experience on OS, Storage, Network and Virtualization activities. Experience Level 4 to 6 Years Location of Posting Kochin or Pune ```
