The candidate can be a fresher with knowledge of Tally and GST or experienced. About the Role: We are hiring for a Junior Accounts Assistant for a Chartered Accountant Firm based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The candidate should be well-versed in spoken and written English, with a distinction in SSC/HSC and Graduation. Knowledge of MS office and Tally is required. The job profile would be handling daily Accounts, Regulatory work, HR and Office Admin. Responsibilities: The Tally or Accounting experience should cover all areas of Tally, covering data entry of invoicing, collections, expenses, funds transfer, salary, tax payments, etc. and Tally Payroll processing from attendance to final payroll preparation and payment, finalization of accounts and compilation of details for tax audits. The GST experience should cover raising of GST invoice, issuance of debit/credit notes on account of changes in original invoices, GST payments, filing of monthly/quarterly returns independently, tracking ITC-related issues and handling any GST-related issues. The Income tax Experience should cover payment of monthly TDS and filing of the TDS returns, working of Advance tax and payment of advance tax, and filing of the firm's ITR. The Compliance Experience should include working on and payment of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax dues, and filing of returns, wherever required. The Finance and Banking Experience should cover independently doing all government net banking transactions, obtaining online bank statements, etc. Qualifications: The candidate must speak good English, communication skills, good academics through and through. Required Skills: Good experience in Tally, GST, Payroll, Income tax (TDS returns filing and payment, compilation of tax audit details, Advance tax, etc. at firm level and compliance with all labor laws like Provident Fund (including payments, returns filing, etc., ESIC (including Payments, returns, etc., PT (including payments, returns, etc., Statutory Staff Welfare fund payments and other labor laws returns). 1-2 Experience in a CA Firm is mandatory. Freshers willing to start their career in a CA Firm are Welcome. Preferred Skills: Detailed Exposure in Accounts on Tally: from basic accounting entries and invoicing to higher levels of Tally, including extracting useful management information reports from Tally to Trial Balance, Ledger Scrutiny, Inter-firm and third party accounts reconciliation and lastly to prepare the Final P & L and Balance Sheet and pass various closing entries. Good experience in using Tally for GST invoicing, GST Credit Notes/ Debit Notes, online GST payment every month after extracting details from Tally and reconciling with excel sheet kept, Also, experience in using Tally for filing various types of GST returns and in ITC credits on GST websites. Using Tally for recording the attendance, setting up a new employee pay and other details in Tally, including the PF, ESIC, PT and other deductions, preparing the entire Pay Roll including the Accounting entries in Tally, using Tally ledger account for paying PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, etc. to various Government Authorities and passing entries. Preparing TDS Return from Tally. Passing each and every type of accounting entry, Periodical inter-firm settlements, working out Tax audit details from Tally, etc. Dealing with the Banks in all aspects, net banking payments of Government and non-government types, funds management and transfers. Compensation: ₹16,000 - ₹ 20,000
