Job Description:
The HR & Administrative Officer will be responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, and employee counseling. The officer will also handle daily administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing: Prepare job descriptions, post ads, and manage the hiring process.
Training and Development: Create and manage training and development programs for employees.
Performance Management: Implement performance review procedures and manage benefits and compensation packages.
Employee Relations: Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disputes.
Administrative Duties: Manage office supplies stock and place orders, prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets, organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents, answer queries by employees and clients, maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments, distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails, and packages), and prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources roles.
Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems.
Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
Good organizational and time management skills.
