Key Responsibilities

Review and understand project requirements, specifications, and design documents.

Perform manual testing and assist in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Execute test cases to identify software defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.

Collaborate with the development team to report, track, and resolve bugs.

Assist in regression, sanity, and smoke testing.

Maintain proper documentation of testing processes, defects, and results.

Support the QA team in basic automation testing tasks if required.

Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Experience: 6 months – 1 year in manual testing or QA roles.

Basic knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and bug life cycle.

Ability to write test cases, use cases, and familiarity with Scrum methodology.

Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

Exposure to web and mobile application testing.

Basic understanding of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
