As we continue expanding our team, we seek a talented Laravel Developer to join our team remotely.Position Overview: As a Remote Laravel Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. This is a full-time position with a fully remote work arrangement and flexible hours, but availability during core business hours is required. You may be assigned to work on multiple projects across different clients, providing you with a steep learning curve and opportunities to enhance your technical knowledge.We are looking for people with 5+ years of experience in the Laravel framework and good exposure to API development and integration.Key Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework.Strong focus on real-world application of Laravel in diverse sectors, including retail, food delivery, and logistics.Ability to handle integration challenges with external systems such as payment gateways, POS systems, and front-end frameworks like React is highly desirable.Contribute to high-impact, scalable web solutions in the food and retail industry.Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to implement features and functionality.Demonstrate experience and strong understanding in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs principles and best practices.Implement secure API authentication and authorisation methods, such as OAuth, JWT, etc.Optimise API performance, including caching strategies, rate limiting, and efficient data handling.Adjusting and implementing user access and security based on their profile and business approvalYou will work on multiple concurrent client projects, offering a fast-paced environment with a steep learning curve.Working on Jira tickets for projects and ServiceDesk tools for support requirementsOptimising application performance and ensuring scalability.Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.Adhering to project timelines and delivering high-quality work consistently.Providing technical guidance and support to team members as and when needed.Qualifications:3+ years of hands-on experience in Laravel development.Proficiency in PHP, Laravel framework, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API development and integration.Candidates with experience in food delivery platforms and POS system integration will have an added advantage.Ability to create APIs that are scalable, maintainable, and secure.Experience in integrating third-party APIs and working with various data formats such as JSON, XML, etc.Ability to analyse and improve the speed and efficiency of existing APIs.Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues with API integration and ensure seamless connectivity between systems.Familiarity with responsive and mobile design principles.Familiarity with code release in different environments (Sandbox, Staging, Production etc.) using SVN/GitHub/Bitbucket trunking and branchingAbility to come up with multiple solutions to address challenges, depending on project or support requirements, but without compromising quality.Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive results.We encourage creative problem-solving with multiple solutions.
