Role Summary:

This role requires Expert level of QC & QA Knowledge of Packaging and printing industry, with a mindset to deliver work without comprising of quality. Manage Laboratory, Knowledge of maintenance activities of Quality checking machines, knowledge of Labelling

Roles and Responsibility:

The key impact areas will be as follows:

Process:

  • Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
  • Manage and control all quality control activities in accordance with identified Quality Assurance standards, company procedures, customer specifications requirements.
  • Implements measures to improve inspection methods, equipment / tool performance, product quality, efficiency, and morale.
  • Develops and implements the Quality led activities specified within company process to assure quality from concept to production.
  • Validate the customer complaint, conduct the RCA/CAPA Analysis.
  • QC/QA End to End Activities,
  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring adherence of QMS and its objectives.
  • To handle quality department independently,
  • Calibration,
  • Identify & Analyze product Status in production all the Stages,

Product:

  • Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external suppliers and establish internal QA system in Plant.
  • Final Inspection before Dispatch,

Stakeholder interactions:

  • Customer : Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, and error proofing, and implementing short-term and long-term counter measures.
  • Handle of customer complaints and take actions to reduce the complaint.
  • Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the Company, in relation to Quality matters

Compliance:

  • Staying current on laws and regulations to ensure quality compliance
  • Liaising with external audit agency to comply and perform on time certification audit.

Team management :

  • Directs and coordinates the activities of team engaged in quality functions including inspection, analysis, and training.
  • Set department objectives / KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
  • Train others in all aspects of the quality system and application of procedures
  • Knowledge of BRC, ISO.

Role Specific Competencies:

  • Proper verification of customer specs.
  • Online inspection, Incoming inspection,
  • Proficient computer skills, MS Windows, Microsoft Office
  • COA preparation,
  • FG inspection, Shade card preparation. should be fluent in English.
  • Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
  • QA documentation,
  • Good communication skill / team management skill
  • Leadership.
  • Training
  • Lean Manufacturing skills
