Job Title: Senior Manager-Operations


Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Graduate in Science with relevant experience


Experience:  10+ years  


Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of Operations is responsible for leading and managing the operational functions of the organization to achieve business objectives and enhance performance. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, team management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Ø Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.

Ø Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.

Ø Oversee daily operations (including sheet metal fabrication, wooden, and powder coating), ensuring that processes are efficient and meet performance standards.

Ø Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness.

Ø Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce waste.

Ø Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational performance.

Ø Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Ø Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development and training.

Ø Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, HR, supply chain) to ensure alignment and support organizational goals.

Ø Coordinate with external partners and vendors as needed to support operational requirements.

Ø Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.

Ø Allocate resources effectively to meet operational needs and achieve performance targets.

Ø Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Ø Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.











Ø Prepare and present reports on operational performance, including metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.

Ø Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for operational enhancement.

Ø Prepare maintenance plan to reduce the downtime of machines and equipment’s.

Ø Responsible to deliver the right product on right time to customers.


Skills:

Ø Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ø Strong knowledge and experience in sheet metal, wood and powder coating.

Ø Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ø Proficiency in operations management software and tools.

Ø Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and process improvements.

Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
