FlexiLoans is your front row seat to the MSME Fintech revolution in India The role in a gist: As FlexiLoans enters the next orbit of growth, we are looking for people with the passion and hunger to make a dent in the MSME ecosystem. In this role you will be required to lead the underwriting function in the credit risk management process. Sounds like you? Read more on what we are looking for in the role.
What you will work on:
● Assisting the CRO in establishing operational structures, establish appropriate internal underwriting procedures and criteria to control risk and oversee the development of the company's underwriting systems
● Assessing of loan applications and ensuring adherence to defined policy guidelines - across product categories
● Developing credit underwriting framework using alternative data and mapping it to credit signals and policies.
● Managing the overall loan assessment costs within acceptable budgets
● Track operations and ensure deliveries within agreed SLAs as well as monitor and maintain productivity standards of the team
● Preparing of Portfolio dashboards sharing with concerned stakeholders
The ideal candidate:
● 5-7+ years risk/underwriting experience in lending across NBFCs, Banks and FinTech/Consumer tech startup
● Major part of the experience should be in unsecured lending
● Ability to manage large teams & external business and/or vendor partner relationships
● Ability to absorb multiple views and operate with the required level of tact & diplomacy with concerned stakeholders
Qualification and Experience:
● Master’s degree (MBA preferred) from a reputed institute or a CA/CFA degree with relevant experience
● Should have experience in unsecured and financial based credit underwriting
●Experience in a high growth startup preferably in Fintech/Consumer-tech
