Event Operations ManagerCompany Name- The Cocktail Story Industry- Events & Marketing (Alco-Bev) Job Type: Full-time Department: Event Operations Location- Green Park, New Delhi Shift Time- 10:30am – 7:00pm Working Days- 5.5 days (2nd & 4th Saturday Off) Position Overview:The Event Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all operational aspects of events to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional attendee experiences. This role oversees logistics, vendor management, staffing, budgeting, and on-site execution across corporate, public, and private events.Key Responsibilities:1. Event Planning & CoordinationDevelop detailed event operation plans, timelines, and run sheets.Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, AV setup, signage, and security.Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, finance) to align event objectives and deliverables.2. Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementSource, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.Build and maintain strong relationships with venues and event partners.Ensure all vendors comply with safety, legal, and company standards.3. Budgeting & Financial ControlPrepare and manage event budgets, including forecasting and cost control.Track expenses and ensure events are delivered within approved budgets.Handle invoicing, payments, and post-event financial reconciliation.4. Team Leadership & Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise on-site event staff, volunteers, and contractors.Provide clear direction and ensure effective communication among all team members.Conduct debriefs and performance evaluations post-event.5. On-site Event ExecutionOversee all event-day operations, including setup, live execution, and breakdown.Manage troubleshooting and ensure smooth event flow.Uphold brand standards and ensure an exceptional guest experience.6.
