Our client is a Europe headquartered company in the renewable energy sector in India. Our client has a target to become net zero by 2030.
Job Description
Incumbent will be responsible for Land Acquisition along with related approvals & documentation as per:
Identification and evaluation of proposed site for solar/wind farm and for new business areas - green hydrogen, ammonia, methane etc. Survey of proposed Land & verification/determination of land price. Scrutiny and verification of all land related documents. Preparation of feasibility reports, preliminary notes on the property, title reports, and search reports. Land acquisition of private/revenue land, preparation of papers and co-ordination with various revenue officers for getting necessary permission from Govt. authorities. Coordination with various Govt. Dept. viz. Revenue, Panchayats, Taluka /sub-division / district level bodies. Preparing the legal opinions in line with applicable law and rules. Drafting of all types of Deeds (Agreement to Sell, Sale deeds, GPAs, MOUs, Lease deeds etc.) Legal correspondence, coordination with various departments for obtaining development approvals for wind farm projects. Resolution of pending land related issues with projects already executed and in operation. Selecting competent aggregators and working through them for acquiring sale/lease/ Govt Lands.
The Successful Applicant
Graduate with 18-22 years of experience in land acquisition role for solar/ Wind/ Hybrid projects. Preference will be given to candidates who have degree. Experience of working, liaising and building relationships with various stakeholders Strong analytic and communication skills. Good understanding of land laws and legal documents. Capability of handling the entire process of land acquisition independently. Is updated on all latest reforms/regulations related to land acquisition in India.
