Job Description: Technology Expert - ERP

About the client:

The client is an airport hospitality player currently operating at multiple airports. They are a rapidly growing company with a team size of more than 1000 people. They operate under the following services:

· The bespoke Meet and Assist service for a comfortable airport experience.

· Dedicated airport lounges for relaxing during travel

· Spas at multiple airports

· Premium luggage wrapping service at airports.

· Business centre for hosting meetings and catching up on work.

· Transit Hotel/CIP Lounge/Inflight Catering: Upcoming or under evaluation projects.

Client’s strategic growth targets in next 5 years

• ~ 15X revenue growth from INR 60 to 1000 Cr

• # of business units to grow from 4 to more than 15

• ~ 10X growth in # of customers served per day from 1500 to 15,000

• ~ 3X growth in number of employees from 700 to 2,000

• Addition of new services e.g., nap rooms, transit hotels, etc.

The client is rapidly growing, and digital enablement has been identified as a key pillar to support their growth story with a special emphasis on going paperless in the short term.

Job Overview:

As a Techno-Functional Expert, you will play a crucial role in assessing, validating, and implementing the upgraded ERP solution for the client organization. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise and domain knowledge in airport hospitality and operational processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the selected ERP system aligns with our business requirements, enhances operational efficiency, and supports our ambitious growth targets. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving our initiative to become paperless, leveraging the ERP system's digital capabilities.

Hybrid work mode- will be required to operate out of the client office in Gurgaon from time to time.

Responsibilities:

1. ERP Selection and Validation:

· Conduct a comprehensive analysis of our existing ERP system and identify pain points and areas for improvement.

· Research, evaluate, and recommend suitable ERP solutions that align with our business needs and long-term growth strategy.

· Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the ERP upgrade plan.

2. Techno-Functional Expertise:

· Possess a deep understanding of various ERP softwares, be able to provide a comparative of their functionalities, and integration with various modules such as finance, HR, operations, and customer service.

· Assess the technical feasibility of the ERP upgrade, considering factors like scalability, data migration, and system integration.

· Analyze business processes and design efficient workflows within the ERP system to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

3. Project Management and Implementation:

· Lead the ERP upgrade project from inception to successful implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

· Collaborate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and consultants to execute the ERP upgrade plan effectively.

· Develop and execute testing strategies to validate the ERP system's functionality and identify and resolve any issues during the implementation phase.

4. Paperless Initiative:

· Lead the adoption of digital processes within the organization to achieve the goal of going paperless.

· Identify opportunities to leverage the ERP system's digital capabilities to streamline workflows, reduce manual paperwork, and enhance data security.

Skills and Requirements :

· Proven experience (10+ years) in ERP implementation, preferably within the hospitality industry or a related field.

· Technical proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

· Project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading ERP projects.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Strong domain knowledge in the hospitality industry, both for customer-facing and backend operations, will be considered a bonus.
