We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with 5–8 years of expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, deep knowledge of automation frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software through continuous testing practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with QA analysts and developers to identify test scenarios and design appropriate automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Writing and maintaining automated test scripts using testing frameworks, programming languages (such as Java, Python, C#), and testing libraries.
  • Executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and stability.
  • Automating the execution of regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
  • Automating tests that validate the interaction between different components or modules of a software application.
  • Integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable early detection of defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Identifying and reporting defects through clear bug reports and collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Designing and implementing automated performance and load tests to assess the application's behavior under various conditions.

Critical Skills to Possess:

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing test scripts.
  • Experience with automated testing in various environments (web, mobile, APIs, etc.).
