Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Remote Department: Business Operations / IT / Product Management Experience: 2+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze processes, and deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic goals. This role involves gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business improvements. Key Responsibilities: Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams. Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement. Create and maintain business process models, use cases, and user stories. Collaborate with developers, QA, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Support testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Monitor project progress and assist in change management activities. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, and BPMN tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Preferred Attributes: Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, etc.) is a plus. Experience in domains like finance, healthcare, retail, or IT services. Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
