Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
· Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
· Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
· Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design
· Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
· Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
· Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale
· Work primarily in React, Python, Java, and JavaScript
· Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs
· Collaborate across time zones via Teams, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent video conferences
Job Specifications
● Education, qualifications: solid foundation in Computer Science and strong competencies in data structure, algorithms and software architecture
● Experience: 10+ years
Required Skills
● 5+ years’ experience architecting and developing distributed, micro-services based systems. 5+ years of general software development experience
● Previous experience as a full stack Java, Angular/React/JavaScript engineer.
● Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
● Excellent knowledge of both front-end and back-end programming languages (JavaScript, HTML, Java, Python, REACT, Angular JS, Node JS, REST APIs, Spring Boot)
● Expertise in architectural patterns (e.g. Fowler) and software design patterns (GoF)
● STRONG ability to design, code and debug applications in JavaScript, Java and Python
● Experience working on large software systems, particularly distributed systems and microservices architectures
● Experience architecting large software systems and enterprise integrations
● Experience working with large transactional data streams and combining transactional data with web, social and mobile data streams
● Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization
● Some experience with performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation especially in distributed and cloud environments
● Support, maintain and document software functionality and software design and architecture
Soft Skills
● Excellent and proven communication, presentation, facilitation and organizational skills
● Proven ability to work well with multi-disciplinary teams
● Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role
