Job Overview:As a Dispatch Manager at Annadco Sporting, you will be responsiblefor overseeing the efficient coordination and execution of productdispatch operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuringtimely delivery of orders to customers while maintaining thehighest standards of accuracy and quality. The ideal candidate willpossess strong organisational skills, effective communicationabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This rolerequires leadership capabilities to manage a team of dispatchpersonnel and collaborate with various departments to optimiseworkflowprocesses.


KeyResponsibilities:

  • DispatchOperations Management: Supervise and coordinate daily dispatchactivities, including order prioritisation, scheduling, andallocation of resources to meet deliverydeadlines.

  • TeamLeadership: Lead, motivate, and train dispatch staff to ensureadherence to company policies, procedures, and performancestandards.

  • InventoryControl: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks,and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain adequate stocklevels fordispatch.

  • RouteOptimization: Develop and implement efficient delivery routes tominimise transit time, fuel costs, and vehicle wear andtear.

  • QualityAssurance: Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders prior todispatch, conducting quality checks to verify product integrity andproperpackaging.

  • CustomerService: Collaborate with customer service representatives toaddress delivery inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain highlevels of customersatisfaction.

  • SafetyCompliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to promote asafe working environment for dispatch personnel and ensurecompliance with transportationlaws.

  • PerformanceAnalysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related todispatch operations, identify areas for improvement, and implementstrategies to optimise efficiency andproductivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply ChainManagement, or relatedfield.

  • Provenexperience in dispatch operations management, preferably in theretail or e-commercesector.

  • Strongleadership abilities with demonstrated success in leading anddevelopingteams.

  • Excellentorganisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks andmultitaskeffectively.

  • Proficientcomputer skills, including familiarity with dispatch software andMicrosoft Officeapplications.

  • Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability tocollaborate across departments and interact withcustomers.

  • Knowledgeof transportation regulations and logistics bestpractices.
