Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for writingserver side web application/ business logic.
  • Develop new user facing features
  • Work with the existing applications and helpevolve it by building reusable code and libraries
  • Optimize applications for performance andscalability
  • Collaborate with other teammembers
  • Writing reusable testable andefficient code
  • Proactive attitude onidentifying problems and providing solutions.
  • Creative and innovative thinking isappreciated.
  • Integration of userfacingelements developed by frontend developers with serverside logic.
  • Writing reusable testable and efficient code.
  • Design and implementation of lowlatencyhighavailability and performantapplications.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years ofexperience developing Backends using NodeJS — should bewell versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop and knowits quirks and workarounds.
  • Extensiveexperience in Node.js
  • Good knowledge of Redisits data types and their use cases.
  • Deep expertise andhandson experience with Web Applications and related programminglanguages such as HTML CSS & CSS Preprocessors jQuery.
  • Experience developing and deploying REST APIs.
  • Good knowledge of Unit Testing and availableTest Frameworks.
  • Good understanding ofadvanced JS libraries and frameworks such as Angular.
  • Ability to make changes in a backwardcompatible manner.
  • Experience with Web socketsService Workers and Web Push Notifications.
  • Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools.
  • Strong with algorithms.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioningtools such as Git.
  • Should be a fast learnerand a gogetter — without any fear of trying out newthings Preferences.
  • Have built a backend forapplications using NodeJs (APIs).
  • Have built afrontend for applications using Angular 5 or above (preferred butnot mandatory).
  • Experience working withIBM/AWS/Google Cloud platforms in deployment and setup ofApplications.
  • Experience working withversioning tools such as GitHub/Bitbucket or others.
  • Experience with inclient interaction is aplus.
  • Healthcare experience will be abonus
  • AngularJs and Angular experience optionsand a bonus (full stack experience)
  • Any cloudexposure optional
