Executive - Maintenance (Electrical)

Role & responsibilities :

  • Handling machines like VMC, HMC, Turning, Grinding, Gear Cutting, Induction Hardening, Lapping & SPM machines etc.
  • Working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC control systems.
  • Diagnosing electrical problems and implementing effective solutions, including repairing, or replacing faulty components of machines as mentioned above.
  • Regularly inspecting electrical systems, components, and equipment for safety and functionality.
  • Installing and maintaining electrical equipment, such as motors, transformers, Generator, Compressor, and circuit breakers.
  • Performing preventative, predictive & periodic maintenance on Machines & Electrical systems.
  • Ensuring all electrical work complies with safety regulations.
  • Planning and execution of shutdowns or outages.
  • Maintaining spare parts and drawings.
  • Maintaining records and logs of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance team members and contractors.
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and other personnel.
  • Responding to emergency repair requests promptly.

Preferred candidate profile :

  • Knowledge of breakdown/ preventive maintenance of machines like VMC, HMC, Turning, Grinding, Gear cutting, Induction Hardening, Lapping & SPM machines etc.
  • Operation & Maintenance of HT & LT electrical systems & switch gears.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving of CNC controls like Fanuc, Siemens etc.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving of PLC controls like Mitsubishi, Delta, Alen Bradly etc.
  • Maintaining PM records, Checklist (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
  • Maintenance of utility equipments like generator, air compressor, cooling tower, dryer, chiller, pump house etc.
  • Spare part management.
  • Effective Communication skills.
  • Collaboration with team.
