Must Have :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in data modelling, with a deep expertise in relational database.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient and effective data models that align with business objectives.

- Design and develop complex data models for both transactional and analytical systems using Azure SQL, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and data integrity.

- Evaluate existing data structures and recommend improvements or optimizations to enhance data quality, performance, and usability.

- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata documentation, and data lineage to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of data models.

- Work closely with data engineers and developers to implement and maintain data models, ensuring consistency across the data ecosystem.

- Perform data analysis to identify data patterns, relationships, and anomalies, and incorporate these insights into data model designs.

- Collaborate with database administrators to ensure proper implementation, configuration, and optimization of Azure SQL environment.

- Expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions on the Azure platform.

- Expertise in SQL Server, SQL development - DML & DDL scripts.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to data modeling, Azure services, and database technologies.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data modelers and team members on data modeling techniques and best practices.

- Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization.
