Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- UFT Test Automation QA

When building software, we will be going through many stages from initial requirements to going live, it’s important to ensure that everything works according to specification. We are looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our elevated level of quality. QA tester will seek bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they are dealt with.

Responsibilities

·Understand Requirements from the Client, gather, analyze and devise test scenarios.

·Clarify all requirements & be able to provide proper Estimation during Sprint Planning

·Develop Test Plan, Strategies, Test Cases and Maintain the existing test artifacts.

·Design the Necessary Test Bed along with test data required for Testing.

·Good knowledge and understanding Oracle ERP workflows.

·Develop automation framework and define strategy.

·Author functional test scripts and develop automation test cases using Selenium, Cucumber and UFT skills.

·Support and maintenance of the test automation process and framework.

·Develop effective test data management strategies for automation test suites.

·Strong experience in using test management tool i.e. HP ALM.

·Troubleshoot and identify solutions to technical challenges due to new or changing technologies and toolsets.

· Experience working in a cross-functional development team with the ability to influence quality of products in that environment.

·Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.

·Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.

·Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Effective team building and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications we seek in you 

§B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MTech

§Excellent written and verbal communication skills

§Experience in Software Testing

Preferred qualifications

§Good & Proven years of Experience in Automation Testing and yearsof experience in test case design, execution, reporting, test bed setup and maintaining test artifacts and Automation frameworks

§Good experience in Gather, Analyze and understanding Requirements properly.

§At least years of experience in testing ERP applications.

§Good experience in reviewing requirements and clarifying all before proceeding with further testing processes.

§knowledge of Testing tools and Automation frameworks preferably UFT and Selenium.

§Must be good in Basic & Scripting knowledge of VB scripting and Java.

§Experience in handling GIT Repository and familiar with all GIT Commands.

§Must have proven experience in handling any of the Test Management tools, preferably Rally or JIRA etc.

§Must be good at devising all possible test scenarios and providing good test coverage.

§Knowledge of Testing variants like API, Functional, Regression and Smoke etc.

§Good in Effort estimation, adherence to organization guidelines and regulations

§Experience in discussing and interacting with Stakeholders/Project Management/Clients and receive/review the feedback accurately.

§Must be good Team Player

§Extensive experience in Agile /V&V methodologies
