Responsibilities of QA Lead :

  • Research and explore penetration testing tools to enhance security measures.
  • Develop and oversee test strategies, including test data management, regression testing, and automation methodologies, using the Cypress automation framework.
  • Promote and enforce QA standards and best practices across cross-functional teams.
  • Thrive in a dynamic work environment with rapid production and maintenance-level software changes.
  • Apply analytical skills for impact analysis and testing approach formulation in both production and maintenance contexts.
  • Collaborate with development teams to conduct root cause analysis and corrective action planning, enhancing test coverage with the Cypress framework.
  • Lead and contribute to the development of manual and automation test strategies, scripts, and frameworks, emphasizing test architecture, reusability, stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Offer hands-on testing support, covering front-end and back-end changes, user workflows, database functionality, APIs, security, performance, mobile devices, web browsers, and JUnit testing.

Qualifications for QA lead :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accumulate at least 5 years of experience in manual testing with a strong focus on testing various applications and systems.
  • Demonstrate practical proficiency in manual testing methodologies and the ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases based on business and functional requirements.
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field and ideally possess Quality Assurance certifications, such as ISEB or ISTQB.
