Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Media Manager at Battlebucks located in Gurugram. We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and managing BattleBucks’ social media presence across various platforms, including , Instagram, Twitter, Discord, Reddit, and more. The ideal candidate should have a passion for gaming and a proven track record of managing social media for gaming companies or a deep interest in the industry. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing social media marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and communicating with our online community. The role will also involve writing and implementing content strategies, as well as leveraging social media platforms for optimization.



Key Responsibilities:


Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals and campaigns.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
  • Coordinate with designers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality collaterals as per the marketing team’s needs.

Community Engagement:

  • Build and nurture a strong online community through active engagement, responding to comments, and participating in relevant conversations.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and competitor activities, and leverage insights to improve BattleBucks’ social media presence.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize social media performance and make informed decisions.

Brand Advocacy:

  • Act as a brand ambassador for BattleBucks, ensuring consistent messaging and tone across all social media platforms.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify BattleBucks’ reach and impact.

Platform Management:

  • Manage BattleBucks’ presence on , Instagram, Twitter, Discord, Reddit, and other relevant platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with platform updates, trends, and best practices to ensure BattleBucks remains at the forefront of social media innovation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture and communities.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
