About the job : Senior Tableau developer

We at Curate Data Analytics are on a look out for a dynamic developer to be part of our Business Intelligence reporting Team. The incumbent is required to have a good understanding of business analytics & reporting using Tableau in FMCG companies. A past record of working in FMCG Business analytics team on Tableau and delivering successful outcomes of implementing analytics strategy is recommended.

Responsibilities :

1. Understand the requirement of FMCG companies for moving from insight to action

2. Design, build and deploy Tableau BI solutions.

3. Build dashboard/reports based on the specifications from the stakeholders.

4. The work includes data extraction, data transformation, data load and data quality management

5. Enhance existing reports regularly based on feedback from stakeholders.

6. Produce/distribute/automate recurring reports in an efficient and reliable way.

7. Exchange experiences and support other reporting specialists.

8. Understanding business requirement and designing of new dashboards on various platforms

Key Performance Indicators :

1. On time distribution of report with 100% accuracy as agreed with stakeholders.

2. Create/Design/Enhance report in Tableau as agreed with business partner

3. Translate the business reporting needs into an efficient and user-friendly solution

4. Grasp the business requirement and reciprocate them in the form of insightful reports

5. Bring innovation in reporting landscape using new tool & technology

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor/master's degree in computer science, information systems, Statistics, or any other quantitative field

2. 2-5 years of experience in Tableau development

3. Need to be excellent in writing Calculated fields & LOD expressions in Tableau

4. Experience in developing Visualization reports and dashboards using Tableau.

5. Excellent knowledge of connecting Tableau to various data sources.

6. Ability to write SQL queries

7. Strong technical and communication skills, self-driven, open-minded
