Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with hands-on expertise in Cypress and either Playwright or Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright / Robot Framework.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Collaborate with developers and QA to identify test cases and enhance coverage.
  • Analyze automation failures and report defects with clear documentation.
  • Review and optimize existing automation scripts to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure regression coverage and contribute to test planning and estimations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
  • Strong experience with Cypress for UI automation.
  • Working knowledge of Playwright or Robot Framework.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript or Python (if Robot Framework).
  • Good understanding of REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of Git, branching, and CI/CD tools.
  • Familiarity with test reporting tools like Allure, TestRail, or similar.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in API automation or performance testing (JMeter / Locust).
  • Exposure to BDD tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
