Treatment and management: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide follow-up care for both acute and chronic illnesses. Preventive care: Educate patients on diet, hygiene, and other lifestyle changes to promote health and prevent disease. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, specialists, and technicians, to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans. Continuous learning: Stay current with the latest medical advancements, research, and best practices through continuing education.  Leadership and other duties Supervision: May supervise and guide junior doctors, medical residents, and other staff. Research: Participate in clinical research, publications, and academic activities. Compliance: Ensure all medical practices and patient care comply with legal and regulatory requirements.  Requirements Must be a high school graduate. Further training in child care and development from some registered institution (eg. ACNS ). Proven child care experience with references. First Aid and CPR certification. Safety certification. A valid driving license and a safe driving record.
