About the role:
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for administrative functions including user account maintenance, maintaining user roles, monitoring application metrics, security settings, profiles, sharing rules, workflow rules, and data integrity. All such activities are undertaken per the current scientific and regulatory requirements and consultation with Operations teams and other customers.
Key Accountabilities:
Handle routine Salesforce administrative functions including tasks such as user account maintenance.
Develop and maintain documentation on processes and policies.
Assist with Salesforce testing and QC to support business/development teams.
Troubleshoot identified Salesforce issues and work with with internal business team and external vendors to resolve them.
Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.
Provide support for Salesforce projects and work with team members including Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Cyber Security, Architects, and Business Analysts.
Assist with building custom reports and dashboards.
Performing database maintenance tasks/QC tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
Evaluating new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support to internal team members including Project Managers.
May assist with regular internal Salesforce system audits and upgrades.
Implement project support process improvements and change management process.
Contribute to the development, implementation and centralization of processes, procedures and systems applicable to the Project Support areas in George Clinical.
Manage the implementation, ongoing evaluation, prioritization and timely delivery of all operational aspects of allocated project support tasks/responsibilities, under the guidance of the allocated project support team for that task and approval of relevant Functional Area Heads or delegates.
Work with relevant personnel to identify potential project support areas, oversee or conduct feasibility of implementing additional guidelines, training or opportunities for sharing knowledge through obtaining input from functional areas, local, regional and global perspectives as applicable.
What are our expectations of candidates?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a field related, and any Salesforce qualification would be an advantage.
Strong experience in the key accountabilities listed above - ideally in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
Salesforce product knowledge and a strong understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
Experience with Salesforce integration into other technology platforms.
Expertise in data analysis and manipulation for efficient data loading into Salesforce using tools like Data Loader.
Intermediate skills with the MS Office suite of products, particularly Excel.
Excellent English communication skills with strong experience in regional or global project management environments
Proven ability to maintain and enhance positive stakeholder relationships.
Ability to be in our Bangalore office at least once or twice a week.
