Basic PurposeThe HR Information Systems Executive is responsible for successfully managing the delivery of end-to-end Oracle HCM/HRIS projects across the North America & Latin America region. The HR Information Systems Executive will create and manage roadmaps, project plans, day-to-day monitoring of tasks/activities where necessary to maximize the value of Ascendion HR Information systems. The focus of this role will be to oversee the day-to-day operations and management of Oracle systems including external and internal IT relationships. In addition, the Executive will act as a steward and champion for people data integrity and security.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide Oracle HCM configuration consulting and direction to members of HRIS team, HR functions (Talent and Org Development, Compensation, Payroll, HR Operations, etc.) and the core businessEnsure Oracle HCM functions are configured in a way that meets business requirements and follows technical best practices of the Oracle HCM platformManage vendor relationships across HRIS systems to ensure business needs are reliably metTranslate business objectives into solutions with clearly defined scope, timing of deliverables, resources, and key measures of successIdentify and implement best-in-class solutions to address the demands of a rapidly scaling businessParticipate in project implementations with system conversions, implementations, upgrades, or data conversionEnsures accuracy and integrity of the Oracle HCM through ongoing improvements in data accuracy, workflows, and functionalityResearch and identify the root cause of system issues and seek resolutionDevelop and manage advanced Oracle HCM security configurations by hands on or coaching others in maintaining and supporting the security moduleExecute and validate electronic files for data uploads and transfersDrive collaboration at all levels of the organization with a focus on service delivery and heightened attainment of user engagement and experienceOversee data management activities including data audits, data cleanup strategy, creation of cleanup tools and manual cleanup workAssist the People Team with legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable multinational federal and state system requirements in partnership with internal stakeholdersCollaborates on SOX Audit and Compliance related configuration processes and tasks for HRIS team Analyzes and evaluates results from configuration, audits, and support ticket usage statistics to provide recommendations in making system improvementsDevelops, publishes, and maintains standard reports and dashboards that provide information to managers to enable informed planning and decision makingDevelops/socializes documentation and training materialsPropose, document, and implement new or revised processes to improve system performance and promote the consistent use of Oracle HCM modules across the business
Essential Education, Skills, and EnvironmentBachelors Degree in Human Resources or related fieldExperience and deep understanding of ExcelStrong technical, problem solving, and project management skills with the ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilitiesHighly organized, able to effectively manage competing priorities under pressureAble to handle high-level of confidentiality regarding employee informationGreat time management skills and obsession to deliver results for employees in a timely manner with high qualityAbility to communicate clearly during difficult conversations and reduce tensionExecute tasks with attention to detail, reliability, and a relatively quick paceInterface and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve resultsAbility to proactively share a point of view, appropriately challenge assumptions, and take initiative
