Role Overview

We are seeking a
Retail Product Sales Executive
who will be responsible for onboarding and managing merchant partners in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
retail product sales
, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and onboard
    retail merchants
    (textiles, grocery stores, restaurants, consumer products, etc.) to the Discount Dost platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Pitch the platform's value proposition and demonstrate how it helps merchants drive customer loyalty and increase sales.
  • Achieve monthly merchant acquisition targets.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups, resolve merchant queries, and ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Travel across Chennai to meet potential clients (mandatory two-wheeler requirement).
  • Maintain accurate reports of sales activities, merchant feedback, and market insights.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience
    in retail sales, merchant acquisition, or FMCG/consumer product sales.
  • Strong network with
    retail merchants
    is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Chennai.
  • Must own a
    two-wheeler with valid driving license
    .
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
