Key Responsibilities: 1. Industry & Employer Relations (Focus: Bengaluru, Hyderabad & Vijayvada Region) Develop and maintain partnerships with leading companies, startups, and industry bodies in Bangalore, Electronic City, Whitefield, Outer Ring Road, and Peenya industrial area. Initiate new corporate tie-ups and strengthen relationships with existing recruiters. Coordinate with employers for campus drives, job fairs, and placement events. Stay updated with hiring trends in IT, EdTech, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Service sectors prevalent in Bengaluru. 2. Student Career Preparation Conduct employability training, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops tailored for current industry requirements. Facilitate technical and soft skill sessions through collaborations with local training partners or industry experts. Provide one-on-one mentoring and career guidance to final-year students. Support students in securing internships, live projects, and final placements. 3. Placement Operations Plan and manage placement drives, coordinating logistics, communication, and student participation. Maintain placement records, recruiter feedback, and detailed placement statistics. Collaborate with the university’s central placement cell to align policies and reporting. Ensure timely communication between students, faculty, and employers during placement processes. 4. Networking & Branding Represent the university at industry forums, placement consortiums, and professional networking events in Bangalore. Engage alumni based in Bengaluru to create mentorship and referral opportunities. Organize guest lectures, HR conclaves, and career development events with local industry leaders. 5. Internship & Project Coordination Facilitate internship tie-ups with local companies and startups. Monitor internship progress and gather feedback from employers. Coordinate summer internship programs as per university guidelines.
