About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor/ Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in architecture, combined with exceptional project management skills.
What You Will Be Doing:
Quantity Verification:
- Conduct thorough vetting processes to ensure precision and completeness of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Verify and validate quantities against project specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Ensure accurate measurement of quantities for materials and labor required for construction projects.
Documentation Management:
- Develop and maintain detailed records of all quantity-related documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements.
- Review and update BOQ as necessary, ensuring alignment with any project changes or revisions.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with consultants, designers and the project execution team to ensure alignment and accuracy of quantity of items needed for the project.
- Facilitate communication between all parties to ensure project objectives are met.
What You Bring To The Table:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
