Role

To lead the development and procurement of critical BOM parts for new and existing models, ensuring cost competitiveness, quality, and timely delivery aligned with project timelines and plant requirements.

Responsibilities

1.BOM Sourcing & Development

End-to-end ownership of BOM part development from RFQ to SOP

Evaluate drawings, specifications, and BOM cost implications

2.Supplier Evaluation & Costing

Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of vendor offers

  1. Tooling & APQP

Coordinate with suppliers for tooling development and milestone adherence

  1. Localization & VAVE

Identify localization opportunities to reduce landed cost and lead time

  1. Model Launch & Delivery Support

Ensure sourcing timelines align with program schedules

  1. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure sourcing documents, drawings, and costing files are up to date

Adhere to internal audit, IATF, and project documentation requirements

Maintain cost tracking and supplier performance dashboards

Preferred candidate profile

Experience 12-15 yrs of Development & Procurement of BOM parts

B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production Engineering MBA in Supply Chain or Operations( Preffered)
