Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Agile teams: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Agile teams within the Tribe, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams, to enhance their understanding and adoption of Agile principles and practices
• Adaptive Planning & Delivery Transparency: Coach squads in Release Planning. Own Scrum of Scrum for the Tribe and collaborate with relevant Tech and Business representatives to ensure full participation and effective outcomes. Own the JIRA visualization of the product roadmap and backlog for the tribe, and visibility of tribe’s delivery targets, commitment and progress
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization to ensure tribe alignment, manage dependencies, and facilitate effective communication between teams and stakeholders
• Support Agile practices: Help the team embrace Agile engineering practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing. Foster an environment that values technical excellence and ensures the team delivers high-quality products
• Agile metrics and reporting: Track key Agile metrics to measure team performance and progress, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders and leadership
• Continuous improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Facilitate Tribe retrospectives to identify areas of improvement, and support the team in implementing changes that enhance their productivity and effectiveness

Requirements

• Minimum 15 to 20 years hands-on Software Development experience
• B.E degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject
• Proven experience as an Agile Chapter Lead or a Scrum Master preferably in a senior or lead role
• Deep knowledge of various Agile Frameworks, Scaling techniques and the ability to identify the application of the right frameworks for the needs of the Tribe
• Proficient in JIRA & Strong understanding of the Agile software delivery metrics
• Extensive knowledge and experience in facilitating Quarterly Planning, Inceptions, Release Planning, Retrospectives and other Tribe level events
• Ability to lead and influence without direct authority
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
