Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer (Python) located in Andheri (west), Mumbai. As a Back End Developer (Python), you will be responsible for developing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable software applications and APIs. You will work closely with Front End Developers, Data Scientists, and DevOps Engineers to design and implement scalable systems and ensure that our applications are robust and reliable. As a Back End Developer (Python), you will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging issues in our applications and APIs.


Responsibilities


As a Python based Backend developer, you shall be responsible for software development of greenfield projects -an platform for automated testing using Python as a main language. You will work with a team of developers, collaborating on projects to create efficient and effective software solutions that meet the needs of clients or end-users in the testing domain. You will need to have a strong understanding of Python & other languages with knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools/ libraries.


  • Develop and maintain an automated testing platform using Python programming language
  • Design and implement software solutions that automate the testing process
  • Collaborate with other developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve software quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Python and JavaScript programming language and related testing frameworks and tools
  • Ensure software is delivered on-time and meets or exceeds customer expectations
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to software development processes and projects.


Experience:


We are looking for candidates who have 5+ years of experience in back-end development especially in development of software testing platforms.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Python application development
  • Excellent understanding of the Python programming language and its core libraries
  • Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask
  • Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
