Job Title: Backend Developer – IIo T Location: Pune Experience Required: 4–6 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer – IIo T (Industrial Internet of Things) to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Python (Flask, Django, Pandas, Numpy) and backend development for Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory applications . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable IIo T platforms, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and seamless integration with production environments across global sites. This role offers an opportunity to work in a cutting-edge Industry 4.0 ecosystem , collaborating with architects, product owners, Dev Ops, and front-end teams in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python (Flask, Django, Pandas, Numpy). Support global Miba production sites in the Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 domains . Collaborate with product owners and architects to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions . Work closely with front-end developers, Dev Ops engineers, and product teams using Azure Dev Ops . Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Ensure security, performance, and reliability of backend systems. Develop and maintain scalable and secure IIo T platforms for industrial automation. Monitor and troubleshoot IIo T deployments to ensure data accuracy and system reliability . Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices. Document technical solutions, processes, and workflows. Stay updated with the latest IIo T technologies, protocols, and industry trends . Contribute to innovative IIo T solutions to drive business value. Required Professional Expertise Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field , with a focus on IIo T preferred. 4–6 years of experience as a Backend Developer with proven expertise in Python frameworks (Flask, Django). Strong knowledge of SQL and No SQL databases (Mongo DB, time-series data handling). Proficiency with Git, Azure Dev Ops , and version control systems. Hands-on experience with industrial automation protocols like OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT . Familiarity with Dev Ops practices, monitoring, and observability tools (Grafana or similar). Proven experience implementing IT solutions in manufacturing or production environments . Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in agile and globally distributed teams . Good-to-Have Skills Knowledge of Java Spring Boot or Node.js . Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience in developing AI-powered IIo T applications . Exposure to Industry 4.0 digital transformation projects .
