The Barista will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, primarily focusing on coffee and espresso-based drinks. This role requires delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest in our coffee shop or cafe. Responsibilities Prepare and serve espresso-based and other coffee drinks according to company standards. Operate coffee machines and equipment efficiently and safely. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and customer seating spaces. Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed. Handle cash and process transactions accurately. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain a hygienic environment. Assist in training new baristas and support team members as required. Qualifications Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent. Skills Expertise in coffee preparation and espresso machine operation. Customer service excellence. Attention to detail and cleanliness. Time management and multitasking. Cash handling and point of sale (POS) systems. Effective communication and teamwork. .
