Role Description We are seeking a proactive and experienced US Payroll specialist & Human Resources Manager to join our remote team at Accura FMS. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, payroll management, compliance with employment laws and employee relations. You will play a critical role in maintaining a compliant, efficient, and people-centered workplace. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing US Payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll, labor compliance, and employee lifecycle management. Overlap with U.S. Pacific Time (minimum 3-4 hours) is required. Key Responsibilities Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee record management. Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal company policies. Partner with management to implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals. Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate employee payments. Maintain and continuously improve HR processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and employee satisfaction. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of HR policies, payroll, and compliance best practices. Prior experience in Human Resources, preferably within a U.S.-focused organization. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with leadership and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems (e.G., Paychex, ADP) is an advantage.
