Business Data Analyst @ Bangalore
Our client is an IT Company providing Technology Solutions to Fashion Industry. They would like to fill-up the following position asap.
Position : Business Data Analyst
Location : Bangalore
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Experience : 6-8 Years
Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience
Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :
As a Business Analyst, you will focus on the critical aspects of data analysis, reporting, and communication necessary to support strategic decision-making across customer success, software adoption, and key account management. You will have a combination of a strong educational background with practical skills in data analysis, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to customer success, software adoption, and key account management.
Generate monthly reports on user engagement metrics, including adoption rates, feature utilization, and user feedback.
Provide actionable insights derived from data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
2. Performance Dashboards: Develop and maintain performance dashboards for key metrics, allowing for real-time monitoring and easy interpretation.
Implement a comprehensive dashboard that visually represents critical data points for customer success, adoption, and key account management.
Ensure regular updates and accessibility for the management team.
3. Customized Reporting: Create customized reports tailored to the specific needs of various stakeholders, including executive leadership and department heads.
Deliver ad-hoc reports as requested by management to address specific questions or concerns.
Ensure accuracy and relevance in all custom reports provided.
4. Data Accuracy and Quality: Maintain the integrity and quality of data sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all analyses.
Implement data validation processes to minimize errors and discrepancies.
Regularly audit data sources to identify and rectify any anomalies.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments, including customer success, marketing, and sales, to gather relevant data and align reporting efforts.
Facilitate regular meetings to understand data requirements from various teams.
Ensure a seamless flow of information between departments to enhance overall data-driven decision-making.
6. Forecasting and Predictive Analysis: Utilize historical data to develop forecasting models and predictive analyses for customer success and software adoption trends.
Implement at least one predictive analytics model to identify potential issues or opportunities before they arise.
Monitor the accuracy and effectiveness of forecasting models over time.
7. Data Presentation and Communication: Communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Conduct regular presentations to management, highlighting key insights and recommended actions.
Implement data visualization techniques for effective communication.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Business Analyst (Key Account Management team)
1. Educational Background:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
2. Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to slice and dice data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.
Proficient in using data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
3. Data Visualization:
Experience in creating visually compelling and easy-to-understand data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights for various stakeholders.
4. Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with data management principles, including data cleaning, validation, and maintaining data quality.
Comfortable working with databases, extracting and transforming data for analysis.
5. Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
Experience presenting data insights to non-technical audiences.
6. Collaboration and Teamwork:
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, understanding diverse data needs across different departments.
Proven experience working in a collaborative environment to achieve common data-driven goals.
7. Problem-Solving Orientation:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify critical issues and propose effective solutions based on data analysis.
Capacity to think critically and make decisions based on data-driven evidence.
8. Proactive Mindset:
Proactive approach to data analysis, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and providing recommendations for strategic actions.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of data-related projects.
9. Business Acumen:
Understanding of business processes, customer success dynamics, and key account management principles.
Ability to align data analysis efforts with business objectives.
10. Adaptability:
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data analyses and reports.
