Designation: Water Treatment/Chemical treatment Engineer

Experience and Key role:
A Water Treatment Engineer designs, implements, and manages systems for treating water to make it safe for drinking, industrial use, or environmental discharge. They work to ensure water quality meets regulatory standards and optimize treatment processes for efficiency and sustainability. Their responsibilities can range from research and development of modern technologies to overseeing construction and maintenance of treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities job profile:Skills and Qualifications:
•

Diploma/Engineering Degree:
A bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or a related engineering field.

•

Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and regulations. Minimum 10 to 15 years' experience on subject matter.

•

Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize system performance.

•

Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including preparing reports and presentations.

•

Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyse data, evaluate options, and make informed decisions.

•

Knowledge of Environmental Regulations:
Understanding of relevant environmental laws and regulations related to water quality and treatment.

On hand experience for Cooling tower water treatment, online monitoring control system, MGF, ACF and Softener system maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge is essential for this role.
