Position: Vice President of Operations - Western Wear Apparel


Location: Andheri West, Mumbai


YUVAKAA , a leading Western wear fashion brand under Transcontinental Celebration World Pvt Ltd, is seeking an exceptional and visionary Vice President of Operations . This pivotal executive role is crucial for overseeing and optimizing our entire operations, including e-commerce, retail, marketplaces, and Pan-India manufacturing. We are looking for a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence and ensure seamless coordination across all channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Holistic Operations Leadership : Oversee and optimize operations spanning e-commerce, retail, warehouse, inventory management, EBOs, SIS, and marketplace activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Tech-Driven Supply Chain Management : Develop and implement advanced technology strategies to streamline and enhance the supply chain, maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and innovation.
  • E-commerce Operations Excellence : Ensure smooth and efficient e-commerce operations, delivering a superior online shopping experience and optimizing backend processes.
  • Marketplace Operations Oversight : Manage operations for strategic partnerships with leading online marketplaces such as Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Tata Cliq, and Nykaa Fashion, ensuring consistent high performance.
  • Shop-in-Shop Concept Implementation : Lead the execution and management of the Shop-in-Shop concept in major cities, ensuring successful integration and maximized sales.
  • Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBO) Management : Strategize and oversee the establishment of EBOs, ensuring effective operational management and adherence to brand standards.
  • Pan-India Manufacturing Supervision : Oversee and optimize manufacturing operations across India, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of products.
  • Strategic Operational Planning : Formulate and implement a comprehensive operations strategy that drives growth, efficiency, and market expansion.
  • Leadership and Team Development : Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Market and Operational Insights : Conduct thorough market research and operational analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive tactics, informing strategic decisions.
  • Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, retailers, and distributors, ensuring sustained operational success.
  • Operational Excellence : Ensure 100% perfection in all operational aspects, maintaining strict quality and efficiency standards.
  • Performance Reporting and Forecasting : Provide accurate and timely operational reports and strategic forecasts to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.


Requirements:

  • Extensive Experience : Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operations within the fashion or apparel industry, with at least 10 years in a senior role at a top apparel brand.
  • Tech-Based Supply Chain Expertise : Demonstrated success in developing and implementing advanced technology strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Comprehensive Operational Expertise : Proven track record in managing e-commerce, retail, marketplace operations, and Pan-India manufacturing.
  • Executive Leadership : Strong leadership skills with a history of building and leading high-performing operations teams at an executive level.
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of fashion market dynamics, operational processes, and competitive strategies.
  • Attention to Detail : Ability to ensure 100% perfection in all operational aspects, with a meticulous eye for detail and quality.
  • Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
