Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead and facilitate agile transformation initiatives within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) , Agile methodologies , and a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) . As a Senior Scrum Master, you will drive the adoption of Agile principles, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation & Coaching :

  • Act as a servant leader and mentor to multiple Scrum teams, helping them embrace Agile principles and practices.
  • Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives).
  • Foster an environment of trust and collaboration to ensure the teams are self-organizing and empowered.
  • Provide guidance to teams on Agile processes, ensuring alignment with SAFe and Agile methodologies.


SAFe Implementation :

  • Guide teams in the application of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for delivering solutions at scale.
  • Work closely with Program and Release Train Engineers (RTE) to ensure alignment of team-level goals with overall program objectives.
  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions, assisting teams in defining features, stories, and program priorities.


Stakeholder Management :

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication of priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of information and expectations.
  • Provide status updates and metrics (velocity, burn-down, etc.) to senior leadership and stakeholders.


Continuous Improvement :

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring teams regularly reflect on their processes and make adjustments as needed.
  • Champion the removal of impediments and risks that could hinder the team’s ability to deliver on time and within scope.
  • Support teams in improving quality practices, ensuring that the SDLC is optimized for speed and efficiency.


Collaboration and Communication :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and deliver business value.
  • Ensure effective communication between teams, stakeholders, and leadership on Agile progress, roadblocks, and challenges.


SDLC Knowledge :

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and apply it to Agile processes to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work with teams to ensure that technical debt, quality issues, and dependencies are managed effectively during the sprint cycles.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with proven success in leading and coaching multiple Agile teams.
  • Strong experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) , having worked in environments implementing SAFe at scale.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and SDLC processes.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Proven track record of managing Agile teams through the full SDLC, from concept to delivery.


Certifications :

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification required.
  • Additional Agile-related certifications (e.g., CSPO , Advanced CSM , Agile Coaching Certification ) a plus.


Skills :

  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate teams without authority.
  • Solid understanding of software development and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc.).
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive Agile maturity across teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale, enterprise-level Agile transformations.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
  • Background in software engineering or technical roles.
