Urgent Required Assistant Manager- Production in MNC for Chakan Pune location.

Required Qualification:: Diploma/ BE- Mechanical

Required Experience: 1 Yrs. to 4 Yrs. from fabrication industry.

Role & responsibilities

Production oversight: Manage daily production operations within the fabrication shop, encompassing tasks such as welding, cutting, forming, and assembly.

Planning and scheduling: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.

Team leadership and development: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of fabrication staff (welders, fabricators, fitters, etc.) to optimize performance and foster a positive work environment.

Quality control: Ensure products adhere to required quality standards and industry codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO) by implementing quality procedures and conducting inspections.

Efficiency and cost optimization: Monitor productivity and material usage, identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste (e.g., lean manufacturing principles).

Safety and compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.

Inventory and materials management: Track raw materials, consumables, and tools; coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability.

Technical guidance: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, providing guidance to the production team.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management on performance, efficiency, and challenges.

Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with other departments (engineering, quality assurance, project management, logistics) to ensure smooth workflows and resolve issues.
