Job Description

Senior Engineer-Backend- Java, ChennaiREFID954315The Backend Software Engineer is responsible for building new product solutions for our rapidly expanding customer base, working with the top server-side technologies in an open, collaborative, and innovative environment.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementing micro-services from design to production.Take ownership of development, maintenance, testing strategy, design discussions, and operations of the team, with containerized API servicesParticipate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of new product features/componentsEnsuring application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application designWork with a small, cross-functional team on products and features to drive growth.Learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies to growResearch and suggest new technologies for boosting the product.Have an impact on product development by making important technical decisions, influencing the system architecture, development practices andmore.

Qualifications

in Computer Sciences or similarMust have at least 5 years of experience in Java / Python backend developmentMust have profound knowledge in OOP and design patternsMust have experience and knowledge of server-side technologies such as Java, springExperience with Docker containers, Kubernetes and Cloud environmentsExpertise in testing methodologies (Unit-testing, TDD, mocking)Fluent with Relational databases.Good problem-solving and analysis abilitiesExcellent team player with strong communication skillsAdvantage- Experience with Azure / GCP cloud servicesExperience with large-scale SQL / NoSQL databasesExperience with Agile Development, or Extreme Programming methodologies
