Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated GIS Intern to support our mapping and drone data teams. This internship is based onsite in Hyderabad and provides hands-on experience in GIS analysis, drone data processing, and field operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with DGPS and Total Station-based survey data
  • Support processing of drone data using DJI Terra and Pix4D
  • Help analyze spatial data with ArcGIS and AutoCAD
  • Assist in generating 2D/3D survey outputs
  • Support field operations and quality control
  • Contribute to land mapping, planning, and drone data projects

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in GIS, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of GIS platforms such as ArcGIS
  • Familiarity with coordinate systems and mapping tools
  • Willingness to learn drone data processing tools (DJI Terra, Pix4D)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to work in field and office environments

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Python or scripting for GIS
  • Exposure to web GIS concepts (Leaflet, Map box)
  • Interest in drone technology and mapping workflows
