About the Function:As part of Hotel Revenue team, you will be a part of whip smart team responsible for handling category/ revenue, driving growth, and increasing profitability. About the Role:This role will be part of the Domestic Hotels Revenue Team, wherein the incumbent will lead the growth initiatives and analytics charter for the designated category.The incumbent will be a techno-functional expert and will act as the POC for various strategic projects. The role will involve interactions with senior stakeholders across multiple teams, including supply, revenue, marketing, product, and finance.

What will you be doing:P&L Management & Driving GrowthDefining and driving the short-term and long-term growth agenda of the business while influencing various cross-functional teams.Managing the business P&L and devising strategies to achieve revenue goalsTactically managing active revenue levers to achieve daily margin, conversion, and transaction goals.Leading discussions on relevant alliances and execute tactical marketing campaigns.Tracking performance parameters and keep tight control over business KPI numbers.Deep diving into competitor pricing data and use signals to improve category pricing.Deep diving into demand signals and traffic data to decipher business and marketing strategy.Collaborating with marketing team to devise and execute customer engagement strategies and campaigns.Understanding new markets and segments the trends and customer behavior and work with marketing, supply, and product to maximize conversion based on those trends.Following a stringent action plan and collaborating with the product team to increase platform conversion for the hotel category.Working with product teams to automate or improve pricing, business reporting, and alerting mechanisms.Collaborating with the operations team to devise and ensure smooth post-sale processes.

Data AnalyticsCreating and maintaining rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sourcesProactively analyzing data using statistical methods to answer key questions from stakeholders or self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

Qualification & Experience:MBA from a reputed institute with 3 to 5 years of experience in business/ revenue/ category role for a consumer facing, technology enabled business in the e-commerce industry.
