About The Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to front-run our B2B Technology clients. You will collaborate within the team, provide sound counsel and recommendations to clients, and drive results inclusive of traditional and emerging public relations tactics. You’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of your accounts – their business, products, markets, and industry influencers; and will convey this knowledge credibly to members of your account team and to the media, driving media relations results. You will be part of a growing national practice in a growing organization that inspires everyone to push limits and embody our “Fearless pursuit of the unexpected”. With over 24 offices in North America, Europe, and Asia, Zeno provides you a real hands-on experience, while giving the opportunity to work on multi-market accounts and tap into a huge array of global resources.
Responsibilities
Foster and maintain relationships with client contacts, internal agency partners and relevant external organizations
Provide sound creative and strategic counsel to clients to support their business objectives
Total account management including day-to-day account activity, traditional and emerging B2B technology PR strategies
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, completing them on time and on budget
Develop media relations primarily within the enterprise technology realm
Develop an array of content to support clients including but not limited to proposals, media releases, bylines, speeches, and social media posts
Practice effective project management while working with other team members and understand the “big picture” of the client program
Coach Associates and Executives and demonstrate the ability to supervise and delegate tasks appropriately
Support in developing and presenting new business opportunities
Collaborate with fellow regional and/or global Zenoids during cross-selling, upselling, campaign management, employee training, new business, and other business opportunities
About You
PR is your passion, and you have 6+ years of experience servicing corporate or enterprise technology clients; agency experience preferred
A deep understanding of integrated communications. Digitally savvy, personally, and professionally. You understand that any client program should be rounded out with social elements in today’s world
A master of the craft, who is an excellent people manager, client counselor and will roll up their sleeves and stay close to the work
Love all things technology (Do you follow your favorite reporters’ twitter feeds? Geek out on new tech innovations?)
People recognize your excellent writing and verbal communication skills
You have earned media placements by crafting newsworthy pitches, releases, contributed articles
A can-do attitude and a collaborative spirit is what you’re all about
You have organizational skills that keep everything humming along
You are collaborative in spirit, and results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
The ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client programs is something that inspires you
You have the courage to be fearless in presenting a point of view in brainstorms
