Indirects Procurement Manager   POSITION PURPOSE: The job holder is responsible for improving the global Indirects Procurement performance by leading & managing global projects and supporting the global Indirects Procurement organization and its stakeholders with Procurement-specific expertise. He/she contributes to Customer Teams, Product Teams, Technical Teams, or other Mission Teams, as well as programs in the procurement community on a global level and across the individual Indirects Procurement sub-teams ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrates DSO behaviors: Focus on outcomes: Define and deliver the highest impact outcomes for farmers, patients, consumers, and stakeholders. Be your best self and include others: Respect differences, embrace inclusion, and show up as your best self Collaborate with accountability: Collaborate and hold yourself and others accountable, in and across teams Co-create for the customers: Be close to the customer and co-create solutions for their needs Act, learn fast, and evolve: Work in 90-day-cycles, learn quickly, and continually develop Drives the outcome-based definition of project scopes, team management, and deliverables, and manages stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery within time and budget Represents Indirects Procurement in Mission Teams and coordinates Procurement-specific input across relevant Procurement Areas Steers the global rollout of Procurement Enablement initiatives across the Indirects Procurement sub-teams Proactively identifies areas with room for improvement and develop concrete project proposals on how to address these Strongly engages with related Communities of Practice Brings specific PRO process knowledge to support projects KEY WORKING RELATIONS: Procurement internal: Reports to Head of Indirects Procurement Engagement APAC Procurement Enablement Category Leads, Regional Procurement Managers, Sourcers, Procurement Area Team Leads Related Communities of Practice GBS Source to Pay Third-party provider (GEP) Procurement external: Key commercial & R&D stakeholders in the region such as country CDH, head of innovation & other projects relevant internal stakeholders Product Teams, Technical Teams, Enabling Teams across divisions and functions Enabling functions teams (e.g., LPC, finance, controlling) Bayer external: Strategic, key and base suppliers WHO YOU ARE: Master or equivalent degree in science, engineering, or business management Solid background and expertise in Procurement especially in commercial areas etc Strong stakeholder engagement skills combined with strong collaboration, influencing, and communication competencies Proven experience in change management and project management Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to drive implementation High proficiency level in written and spoken English Ever feel burnt out by bureaucracy?
