The Business Development Manager for Airbnb is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of Airbnb properties and experiences within a designated region. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, optimizing property listings, and building strong relationships with hosts and local stakeholders. The goal is to increase market share and maximize the value of Airbnb’s offerings.


Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue new markets and opportunities to expand property's presence.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to guide business decisions.
  • Leverage data insights to recommend market strategies and areas for growth.


Partnership Development:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, real estate developers, and local businesses.
  • Develop partnerships with tourism boards, local travel agencies, and other relevant entities to enhance local visibility.


Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Focus on increasing property listings in key locations and improving the performance of underutilized properties.


Reporting and Analytics:

  • Track and report on market performance, key metrics, and growth initiatives.
  • Provide insights to senior management on growth opportunities and market challenges.
  • Develop forecasts and business development plans for the region.
