Job Overview We are currently seeking a Junior Purchase Executive for our manufacturing unit in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position where the candidate must have a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of relevant work experience. The position demands someone adept at handling procurement tasks and negotiating with suppliers. Qualifications and Skills Strong understanding of procurement processes with experience in managing purchase orders (Mandatory skill). Expertise in negotiation to ensure the best pricing and terms from suppliers (Mandatory skill). Proficiency in SAP to manage procurement transactions and supplier interactions efficiently. Effective vendor management skills to establish and maintain productive supplier relationships. Ability to plan materials requirements to align with production schedules and business demands. Excellent communication skills to liaise across departments and with external suppliers. Attention to detail in monitoring inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Analytical skills to assess supplier performance and propose improvements. Roles and Responsibilities Coordinate and execute all activities related to the procurement of necessary goods and services. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure high-quality service and compliance. Track and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures. Negotiate contract terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions. Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stocking levels and to prevent shortages. Handle discrepancies related to procurement and work towards corrective actions. Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
