Reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Manager, you will have opportunities to grow both technically and professionally. You'll have opportunity to: Contribute to the development of Experian's flagship Android native application Implement new features Enhance existing ones based on our requirements Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers Ensure code quality through automated testing and continuous integration Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Resolve performance and scalability issues Debug and troubleshoot application issues reported by users or discovered through testing Ensure the application meets Google's design principles and interface guidelines Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, APIs, and development processes Provide clear technical documentation for future reference Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 5 to 7 years of experience in Android app development You are proficiency in Kotlin and Java Experience with Android frameworks such as Jetpack Compose and XML Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services Knowledge of Google's design principles and interface guidelines Experience with version control systems like GitHub Proficiency in Android Studio and other development tools Experience with automated testing and continuous integration Experience with Agile development methodologies Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Android apps Additional InformationOur uniqueness is that we celebrate yours.
